Raecine 'Rae' Williams has been around media and television since she was six years old when she debuted in Jamaican reggae duo Chaka Demus and Pliers' music video 'Every Kind of People'.
Rae earned a Master's in Journalism with a Certificate in Sports Journalism from the University of Maryland, and a degree in Film and English Creative Writing, with a minor in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami.
Rae has found success as a producer, print journalist and broadcast journalist and currently works in her favorite capacity as an entertainment correspondent and media coach. Her career has
taken her enviable places--from winning two regional Emmy awards for her work as a student, to covering the White House and the dancehalls of Jamaica, to the glitzy Red Carpets and celeb world of Los Angeles.
After years of hosting the acclaimed, long-running Jamaican
Friday night magazine program, Entertainment Report (ER),
and working the entertainment circuit in LA, Rae realized how
deep a need there was for budding artists, personalities and businesspeople to be exposed to proper media training. She
decided to document her experiences and expertise as a young media professional in her first book Spotlight On Me.
